About me
Quick Google - How to write an ‘about me’ page…
1. Decide if you want to use the first or third person.
Anyone that uses the ‘third person’ to describe themselves needs to take a long walk off a short pier.
2. Don't ramble.
I’m a man of few words.
3. Include an image.
See the ruggedly handsome fella to the left.
4. Stay humble.
People come to me and say ‘Ant, you’re at the top of your game, a leader in your industry… what is your secret for being so talented yet staying so humble?’ My reply is ‘Yes, I am all of those things, but my secret to being humble?... well, that’s a secret.’
5. Use your own voice.
I’d prefer it if you read this in the voice of Joe Pesci.
6. Go for humour rather than trying to be funny.
Did you hear about the crook who stole a calendar? He got twelve months.
7. Be honest.
I once took part in a cross-country race and was so far behind that I took a short cut and re-joined the race at the finish line and came 3rd! Nobody noticed and I was in the paper the next day. So glad to get that off my chest.
8. Proofread, print, and read aloud.
Proofreading and reading out loud are the same thing no? Save a tree, no need to print it.
PS.
Please give me your work, I am very good and can turn around designs quicker than that other guy you’re thinking about giving the job to!
